Thread: COP plug connector

  1. #1

    Default COP plug connector

Anyone have experience splicing or wiring into the plug connector for COP? Just had another one break on my NC, and I don't see how towing it to the dealer is worth it for a basic wiring fix.

Yeah, except the wire is what broke. Very brittle on the 06's.

Did the wire break at the pin inside the plug? If so depin it, strip the wire and either clamp it back in or solder it. If it broke somewhere else, just strip it, solder it, and heat shrink it.

It broke about 1/4" fron the connector.

Found a pigtail for it. Nissan uses the same one. $5, and I don't need to worry about how brittle the wiring is on the original.
