$45 for t-shirt, food AND a track day at Harris Hill?! What an awesome deal!

The Track Dog Racing crew is going and sponsoring the event. We will be providing raffle prizes.

I can't wait! Never driven HH and I'm looking forward to it. I hear it is a great Miata track.

If you're missing Hallett or even if you're going to Hallett, this is a ridiculously great deal for track time! Sign up!

Please elaborate on the track day. Will there be skill-based run groups, or is this just some parade laps?

For $45.00 I'm betting this isn't going to be a full blown track weekend.

I believe you guys are correct. Full track time requires tech sheets, helmets, etc.

Are we driving our cars on the track or just jogging on it?

You are correct it is not a full blown track weekend it is a event for all Miata owners of all ages and interests. that is why we are holding hill country runs for those that are not interested in track time. The $45 dollars is to help with the expenses that sponsoring event is costing our club

There will be some time allowed for open racing for cars that properly equipped. The lead follow are not a parade style runs around the track. In the past lead run pace is set according to the experience of the drivers within that group. I have been part of some lead runs that would test the skill level of a lot weekend type racers.

The Track day is for all type of drivers and interests and is being sponsored and paid for by our local Mazda dealer.

Cool. Sounds like a deal for the price! Thanks for clarifying, I may attend.

This looks like a fantastic time and I'd like to see MME represent. It looks like the Harris Hill part has great potential, especially for the price and it also looks like Paul and the Tejas Miata Club have other fun activities planned.

Gary, Jovany and I will be going for sure.

Total your price carefully, gas to San Marcos, Hotel, and the $275 ticket you'll get in Georgetown on the way down.

Harris Hill is a fun track with a sweeper just right to throttle steer in a Miata. Smaller and tighter than Hallett, but with a big hill.

Yeah...you could just do the already-high speed limit and save $275. If you take 130 around west Austin, it dumps you back on to 35 just north of SM. I'm just going to stay at my family cabin in Dripping Springs.

What's the question? Where is it? Small town just west of Austin, north of Wimberly, not far from San Marcos. We have a cabin on some land out there.
