Default Miata's in flight is a GO!!!!

Just got back from the museum and the P-51 has not been called out. Good news.
I will be at the museum around 1:00 PM onward.
When you get there just park out front and come through the front entrance.
The museum has recently raised the NORMAL admission to $8.00 but we still get in for $5.50!!!!!!
Tell Pam at the front your there with the MME group.
Come on in a tour the museum at your own pace.
At around 3:00-3:30 PM I will make an announcemnet for all to meet in hangar 1 and we will discuss the game plan. Tailchaser if your bringing the tripod and good digital camera ask for me and we can pre-stage the shoot.
We will move the P-51 to the west side of hangar 2 to keep away from pad foot traffic.
My cell is 214-797-3922 if you have any problems.
    The museum is 972-380-8800.
The Red Baron started last night after a no-fire yesterday morning???
Remember Chuck's Hamburgers after we get through at the museum.
When I did this with the motorcycle group we were leaving before I noticed that I forgot to bring my bike in! Someone remind me!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be there with the camera, tripod, laptop, etc. With any luck, I'll be there by 1:00-1:30 with a clean car...

If you have a USB thumb drive (or even a compact flash card), bring it, and you'll get your photos fast!

Sammm and I live in far south Arlington. I'd suggest we meet on the North side.

    Default warbirds

Hey guys! Just found out about this event through the email, DOH! I wont be able to make it because of previous plans but wanted to let yall know that anytime you come through Breckenridge, TX feel free to come by the airport and visit me at work. I work at Ezell Aviation. The Ezell's are some of the most respected warbird restoration companys in the world. We have new planes in every week to visit or get minor work so its always a suprise. Visit the website I maintain for them at www.ezellaviation.com . This wasnt meant as a plug, just an invite to any of you who like WWII aircraft :)

Look forward to seeing yalls photos!

Default Nope, I can't make it...

This will be a VERY cool MME outing, and I wish I could make it. But my daughter has a dance recital that afternoon, and that is a "must do" event for me!

    Ya'll have fun!

    Thumbs up

It's going to be tight, but I think I can make it. I've got some stuff I don't want to miss in the morning which will probably run long. I mean I can definitely get to the museum by 2:30 and I'll probably do the dinner thing too; never eaten there before.

    Default Tarrant County Caravan Folks!

There has been a change of plans because I don't want onething to know where I moved to. Those wanting to caravan from Tarrant County - we are now going to meet at Pennington Field parking lot (SW corner of 183/Central Drive) in Bedford. We will be leaving Pennington promptly at 2pm.

If anyone is unsure of where that is, or has any questions, PM me for info.

Found this 99 Miata on Ebay. 1900 miles. The picture looks like it might have been taken inside the museum. It has been a few years since I was there.

They usually have several cars inside the hangars along with the planes... perhaps the members use the hangar for storage of their cars as well?

    Cool

Here come the photos... I've started the upload (65 photos, 178 Megs!!!!) with the best shot from each angle for all the cars.

Once they've finished, you'll find them all at:

    http://wickett.smugmug.com/gallery/574203

Where you can download full resolution images, order prints, posters, etc. There's no mark-up for these photos if you do order prints, and the quality is exceptional. But... feel free to tip the photographer if you really like your photos...
