Mineral Wells Pro Reminder
Remember the Pro Solo at Mineral Wells is coming up the first weekend of May. Don't let the term Pro discourage you from giving it a shot. Lots of runs great format and if you are a novice to a Pro there is a novice class as well as plenty of locals willing to help out. Get registered and support the event.

And don't forget that ER will have a pre-pro the Sunday before. The ER course is designed by the Pro course designer and will have similar elements. It will be really good practice for the pro. You will get 8 runs on each side for a total of 16 runs on course!

Outside of Jeremy and his commitment issues; no one else has an excuse to skip this weekend.
PROs are the most fun in the autocrossing world (IMHO) and from the sounds of it there will be 2 great parties, lots of bench racing and all we need to do is to supply great competition.
We had over 200 and the Tour this last weekend in College Station. Let's shoot for those kinds of numbers here!

Cramming is an ineffective study method. Freshen up the scholarly skills on the ER weekend and relax the body & mind paying tribute to the solo gods at the Mineral Ring during the Pro. You will be much more test ready the following week and spiritually refreshed.....
Don't wait too long to register. These things can get cancelled if we do not hit the numbers. I will pony up an incentive for STS drivers that are not currently entered. Don't let Texas have an event scratched for lack of numbers.

Unfortunately, I'm beginning to think I might make back-up plans for that weekend. I'm not sure why we can get 200 for the PMS event and only 80 so far for the Pro, but folks who are considering this from afar without committing may have already seen the last MW Pro/Tour come through in 2013. With the success of the College Station site in drawing good numbers and the failure of DFW/MW to do so... you do the math.
Hope I'm wrong!
