I am trying to put LARGER tires on my stock 14x5.5 rims. I don't want to buy new rims unless I absolutely must.

Tirerack is saying can even fit 225/55/14 on the rims. What are you guys running in AutoX?

There was a guy from OKC a few years ago with a white 1.6 that had 225s on wagon wheels. I don't know how he managed to get them on, but he sure was fast. Maybe POS remembers who this was.

Jon J. from OKC! IIRC they were custom Pannasports that he had got from Andy Hollis. It lloked like way more tire than the rim could handle but it worked for him!

I just bought the 205/55/14s for the 5.5" rims. I was tempted by the 225/50's, but that semed a little too radical for me in open track.
