It is opened back up. They close it to try and set worker positions.

Get on it and register. Tell your friends, tell your enemies, tell McNugget.
    M3 is always the answer.

Looks like it will be a fun event with decent attendance for MW.

Full blown SSP setup, Strano-built. And it was basically a TT course with 3 small slaloms.

Sounds a like a recipe for fun. I love road course autocross.

Rod McGeorge's former car. No cost spared on that beast.

Maybe say what you did/did not like so they can improve future events rather than just say you did not like it.

The course was pretty much what I expected. The big sweeper at the end of the back straight was really fun. The only thing I did not like was the 40-45 ft. slaloms.

Make the slaloms 60-70 ft. and not the same spacing on all three, add something to break up the two long straights and it would have been a good course.

Needed more variety of elements, eliminate the downhill off-camber hairpin into an uphill straight, throw in a full-blown sweeper in the middle section. It's what I have come to anticipate from BMW autox at MW, which isn't a bad thing, just not challenging at all as a driving skill test. I'm sure it was a hoot in something with a lot of HP to blast through the straights and up the hill. There wasn't really anything besides the one turn out by the trailer that the mini was better-suited for than any other car, so it was mostly just standing on the throttle.

I can see how you would not like a very slow turn onto a long uphill straight. Now that you pointed it out I can see how most of the rest of the course was not very exciting in the Mini. Where I was at the limit and having to lift just a little in a lot of the corners, in the Mini I am sure you had it matted.
