It was an enjoyable course in the dry. I'm glad I got out of there when I did (when Brad came on the mic and said there was a weather alert). About 3 miles down the road it got REALLY bad.
In other news, how about Grant Watkins 3rd in PAX in only 2 runs??? That's impressive!!

Ran in heat two and it was a hearty challenge for sure. First 4 runs were really difficult with the first 3 being pretty much full wet. Started to dry by run 4. By the 5th run our times were almost 10 seconds faster than the first run, but still several seconds slower than heat 1 and 3 due to wet spots on the track that were tip toe areas.
