...if the cameras are there to save lives, why disguise them? wouldn't blatantly-obvious cameras save even more lives?
These cameras are revenue tools, plain and simple.
Well, apparently the locals support this sort of vandalism, 'cause I can't imagine you could use an angle grinder to cut through a metal pole on the side of a semi-residential street at midnight without being overheard by anyone.Police said the vandal used an angle grinder or a chainsaw to remove the camera between midnight and 1am on Saturday.
