Thread: Mazda's New Shift Knobs -

Default Mazda's New Shift Knobs -

Part Number - GJ6E-46-030B-00 Black Leather

    Part Number -
    GJ6E-46-030B 72 Gray Leather

Apparently it's all the rage... weighted like stock but smaller than a voodoo with the leathery feel of a soft baseball. I like it all except for the silver plate but nice nonetheless. I thought some of the bling blingers amongst us might like them!

Price is dependent on whether you go through a dealer or through MazdaSpeed.

Sorry guys... I'm such a dolt! This news is over two years old!

Well, fellas, if you like the knob still and get one, post up a review. I'm thinking about it...

I like the looks of it ($57 at Mazdaspeed). The thing I don't like about the VooDoo - it gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

I do like that. Maybe I can get one for Christmas. That will make the third shift knob I have bought. Well actually the fourth, since I bought the stock one too. I am now running with my stock one. The sola luna that I had came apart at the base and would rattle.

I just don't see the big deal with Voodoo shift knobs. The don't even look that great IMO, just a plain aluminum ball. Hell my friend made a better looking one for his Chevelle in high school shop class!

For me it's a feel thing... it just feels right.

My stepdad made me one for my first car years ago that I wish I still had it was an 8 ball with a insert but I loved it.

OK I got to try one. If I like it I will have one Sola & One Voodoo for sale / trade.

What kind of Voodoo!? My current one has a nice long z-shaped scratch in it... I call first dibs!
