    Default welp, I'm Moving to Mexico!

    Long story short, Promotion, raise, minions, and MOVING! I'm packing up my sheit and moving down to McAllen, TX for a few years to be the resident un-fu*ker-upper at our Reynosa Mexico facility. I'll be living about the same distance to South Padre Island as I am from Downtown Dallas right now... (if case anyoen wants a vacation)

    The kicker to all this is, I've gotta be down there in about 2 WEEKS. I start Aug 22nd... :eek:

    Good thing is Southwest flies there cheap, so keep me in the loop for cool DFW events (although, I may not have the cars here...)

    Went down yesterday and found a place to live (rent) for the time being... Needs some yard work, but I'm pumped...

    heh, they got like a foot of rain a few weeks ago with the hurricane... Apparaently teh yard liked that. They're supposed to get it clean up this week.

    Eitherway, given the fact it's about 3 miles from the Mexico border, I figure I *might* be able to find someone to help me out...

    heh, nope! my motor guy just got back form Austrailia and is getting it back togetehr... Just gotta find two good 13B 6-port rotor housings now...

    hey ya RX-7,
    what part of McAllen? you'll be one of the few and rare miata/rx-7 in the valley, i wen't there in april and didn't run across any miatas...
    I'm down for a roadtrip to South Padre Island, i haven't been there in ages...
    Sunny days, top down, nice ladies, yah!
    anyway congrats on your promotion and good luck... (oh yeah, really hard to find car parts overthere)

    I'll actually be living in Mission.. West side of McAllen.

    I was down there last week and I saw a few Miatas.. There's one other guy on the MSM board down there too.. Have yet to see any Rx7s though..

    Parts? eh.. usually they're shipped or bought at a store anyway.

    yeah one of the times we went to Padre, it was the cheerleading national championships. The ones they play on ESPN. Our hotel was where all the teams were staying. It kicked butt. :-D
