Nothing wrong with OEM if you're staying stock.

    Another vote for OEM!

Also not a bad time to replace the rear main seal on the engine as well as the front seal on the transmission!

BTW. How many miles did you get out of the clutch??

I just replaced mine on my 99 with an OEM. Look around at some of the online dealers. I got mine at mazda south. They have a "value" clutch, it seems to be the exact same thing as any other oem clutch. It came with a pressure plate, pilot bearing, clutch alignment tool, and ofcourse the friction disk. All for a little over $100 IIRC.

wow I like that price :) Is that for a rebuilt?

I'm not sure how many miles the P.O. got, I'm just replacing everything that wears.

It's not chattering or anything, I can just feel it slipping

    Go to http://www.trussvillemazda.com

They have a clutch kit for $206.98.

Quite a few of us have had good luck with Trussville's parts department; they are normally way cheaper for Mazda parts then any of our local Mazda Dealers!

When I ordered OEM for my '92 it was an Exedy. This looks like a good deal to me.

Don't forget to have the flywheel machined before you install the new one.

I have a "value" clutch kit in my car. It's an Exedy and looked just as nice as the stock one.

Great price, right around $100 for everything.

$100 is an insane price... a smart move would be to pick up one up and stock the shelf with it.
