Thread: Miatas at the Drive-In

  1. #1

    Default Miatas at the Drive-In

The Dallas Arboretum is having Sunday Drive-In Movie Nights this October.

    Sunday Night Movies
    October 2, 16 and 30, 8pm
Favorite 80s movies shown on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn
    Movie Line-up:
    10/2 - Ferris Bueller's Day Off
    10/16 - Top Gun
    10/30 - Ghostbusters
Cost: $6, $10 for two, $4 for members.
Parking in main lot only (no valet)

Anyone interested in a little Miata get together? If so, I would recommend dinner at Mexico Lindo on Garland Road beforehand, then head to the drive-in at 8.

    Vote above if you're interested.

    Thanks.

    S.

Hmmm. I swore to myself that I would give a cathead to the first guy who voted for Top Gun. Should I hit the new guy with a cathead?

Attendance will of course depend on my out-of-town schedule for work, as we're setting up a new location near Seattle for most of October.

    Fear not. It's a kit.

Only about 55 of the 250 GT Spyder California (Short Wheel Base) were built, and they auction in the millions.

I just checked the Dallas Arboretum website and it does not say anything about it being a drive-in movie. And according to the votes it looks like "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is the winner.

Hmm... that would make it akward when we all drive up on the Arboretum's manicured lawns.
