KESTREL watching this morning.....
It was quite the spectacle watching Kestrel and his 'dance troop' this morning on KDFW- 4, showing off for the cameras in preparation for the Towne of Addisions' Octoberfest festival. It was about a 5 min. spot, with dancing and playing of the famous accordian (by Kestrel himself.)
I haven't seen Kestrel all year so it was good to see him on tv. Although it seems tough to play an accordian with a 1/2 yard of beer in your hands, he made it look easy.

Full german festival garb. I believe it was his wife giving dancing lessons to the tv talking head. A real hootenanny, it was.
Did anybody tape this? Are they going to play it again tonight? We need that video!
