Went to Kennedale tonight..

Well me and my buddy Darel with a 66 Chevelle SS went up to kennedale tonight and ran on the 1/8 mile track they have.. They let me run even thought I had shorts on guess they didnt notice.. I coulda got a lot better time except my clutch was slipping really really bad.. Lemme know what you think of my times this one is my best: :ncool:

Oh yeah I fergot to mention.. tonight was the first time I've ever drag raced or anything... my first time was a 10.8

Not a bad time. You have a base greddy kit right? It will get better with practice, but that looks good for your first night.

Oops sorry I forgot about the other motorsports section and didnt know where to post it.. and yeah a base greddy kit.. I'm pretty sure I can get at least a 9.7 with a half-way decent clutch.. but soon I'll be running 7-8 psi and will have a new performance clutch and lightened flywheel so we will so how it runs then

just getting started. I'm looking for a white early 90's model with a hard top so that I can build a dedicated drive to work and run for 25 hours straight without worrying track car. something that if anyone is interested we can replicate.
