Default OEM cruise install in my '99

I finally finished this project! For future reference here are all the parts needed.
    1. Cruise actuator (mounts under hood on left fender well)
with vacuum line and wire cable for the gas pedal
    2. Main cruise power switch for lower left dash
    3. Cruise control computer (lower left kick-panel area)
    4. Brake switch w/extra 2-pin female plug
    5. Gas pedal with 2 'ears' and extra bracket for wire coming out of actuator
    6. Turn-signal stalk assembly with cruise functions on the right side
All the wiring was there on the harness..plug and play. The toughest part was removing and replacing the gas pedal clips and keepers. There is even a 'cruise' light in the gauge cluster that lights up when it's engaged.

    Congrats!!

Next you'll be wondering how to disable that light for night cruising.

I have been wanting throw a cruise in my car. I haven't been finding any for the NB cars on Ebay lately. Is there a difference in the wiring or something? I will also have to find a dual Driving light/cruise switch for my 05 MSM. I did notice that the dash does have that cruise light on it already.

I don't know if they used the same set-up on the MSM's or not. I called Mazda Recycling. Talk to Gene.

I know they didn't offer it as an option, but I didn't check until I was about ready to sign the paperwork. I think I could adapt it if I get the controls, even if I do have to get an aftermarket one.

Thanks, I'll check with Gene at Mazda Recycling.
