They're 195/60-14 Dunlop D60 A2 tires. Mileage is unknown as they came to me with the car, but lots o' tread left and no nasty camber wear.

Oh... my wife is going to love me! Maybe I'll install them on my spare 14" rims and give my Toyos a break over the winter.

This gives me a reason to get the garage organized a bit better.

    OK the info.

    Address:
    PM me for info

    Time:

    10:00am - ???

I have room for one car in the garage but might be able to clear it out for two by moving bikes and the mower out. The driveway will hold four more but it is sloped.

I also have a collection of Craftsman tools, jack, four jackstands but no airtools.

If others have projects they want to work on, you are welcome but I recommend you bring some tools if it's involved.

Not exactly a "TrackDog garage" but it'll work for the project at hand.

Please feel free to show up and lend a hand or just watch and learn.

Yikes, are you sure you want to do this at your place with the new baby daughter?

    Hey BR...

You don't happen to have a homeowner's association do you? Just wanted to check before you loaded up the driveway for a Tech Day.

Good point. We do but I have a neighbor that works on cars all the time. Mostly in his garage though. I also have my neighbor to my left that is an and complained about me parking my truck in the street overnight. BTW, there are about 20 vehicles in the street overnight on any given night.

We do have a HOA but don't know if a tech day would break any rules. If it were an overnight or a frequent thing, it might be an issue. I'm going to go ahead. The worst thing we'll get is a nasty-gram I imagine.

However, if someone else would rather host it, it won't hurt my feelings. I'll participate regardless.

I too need to change my timing belt, is this contageous or what? I've never done this on a Miata before, but have some skills with tools. I'm new to this forum and relatively new to the DFW area. From the previous posts I see that there may be room for more people to come observe/help/cuss and discuss. I can bring either a Miata that needs fixing or a Tahoe with some tools to loan for the day in exchange for knowledge.

I thought perhaps you were going to post already needed work on the S2ook...

Doesn't it only have 15 miles on it? Are you driving in reverse?

Normally I don't respond to these types of posts... but in this case... I'll have you know it now has a little over 200 miles on it. I need to get my first tank of gas soon....
