I could see picking one of those up if I decided I needed a 4-door. They look super sharp, and will always be pretty rare. It reminds me of another rare, AWD, fast 4-door I've always wanted to own: a Gallant VR4.

I imagine they'll sit on dealer lots for a while, then prices will collapse like they did on the MSM. If you could pick one up, sans options, for $24-25k, it'd be a helluva deal.

Hiley Arlington had one two days ago. A frind drove it and said "WOW!" Then, I went to the Ranch this afternoon.........

YEE! HAW! What a car! Eighteen of them at MSR thru tomorrow for dealer orientation, almost identical to the event two years ago with the MazdaSpeed Miata. I didn't get to drive one, but got a couple of hot laps as a passenger. It is everything I expected it to be. Not near the understeer that was complained about in the pre-production cars. Power delivery is smooth with virtually no turbo lag, lots of torque, great braking, although I can't say much for the driver, but I'm sure his throwing the car around impressed the salesmen...... I WANT A RED ONE :)

BTW Merv, have you ever driven an Evo? I drove one last weekend and it blew me away.
