    Mom's maiden name turns up 85 hits I know her side of the family came over on boats... as for my dad's side... they traced our family tree back to the late 1600s in the US...

    Interesting... but Ellis Island had already closed by the time my family emigrated to America.

    My Grandmother on my Dad's side was there. She got here in 1915 with $40 in her pocket!

    my last name is hathorn, it brought back 7 records. im sure if i spelled it with the E and the W it would bring up many more.
