    Default Installed a Rollbar today

I spent the whole day installing the Harddog Sport, my awesome wife convenced santa to bring me. I was going to set up a tech daylater on, but I could not wait after opening the huge box this morning.
My Bro-In-Law and I spent a total of 6 hours on the install. Everything is installed except for the plastic side panels. I can't figure out a way to cut those things and I don't want to jack them up. I have seached and can not find an image that shows the correct way. When I get back to a nomal schedule, after the holidays I need to look at someones car to see how the cuts were made. or if anyone has pics, pm me.

Maybe it's in my head , but the car seems to feel a little more solid now.
    Plus it looks cool.

    Nice!

As for the panels, just take your time and nibble away bit by bit... it's really no big deal. I've done it a couple of times now... just take your time. No worries!

Or if you want to wait, there are a few good examples of side panels around. We could compare them at a later techday.

A Dremel tool with a variety of cutting blades & heads works wonders on that plastic trim!

You can cut away a little at a time and get it custom fitted just fine.

I've done several. I can show you were to cut. Last one was Tim the Teacher's and they came out good!

Now if only I can actually get around to cutting mine.

I had mine professionally installed. Look at it to see how to butcher the panels. It took the pro 6 hours to do mine, so you guys did great! Did it burst into flames yet?

Very nice. A dremel works great for cutting those if you can't wait to see an example.

I have a dremel. Got one for Christmas . I'm just not sure where to cut. I'll just leave the panels off until I can get a close look at one of yours. Thanks for the comments.

My wife lost the battery to the digital Camera and she just recently found it I think...I will check to see if she in fact found it... and post of pics of the Hard Dog Sport that Gary installed in my car, they did a real good job.
    Congrats!!!
It does seem to make the car more solid to me too.
