Wink What? our Miatas aren't girley cars anymore

I am referring to an article in the Dallas Morning News titled "What Women Want" by Tamara Warren - AutoWeek. In the article she quotes Power Information Network that the Scion tC, Mazda3 and Saab9-2X were the top-selling cars by percentage for women ages 16 t0 35 last year. Women, ages 36 to 50, sought out Volvo C70s, Porsche Boxters and Toyota Land Cruisers. Women 56 and up gravitated to the Cadillac DTS and Lincoln Town Car.
Must have been a bunch of with money.

This article was in the Thursday 2/09/06 Automotive section.

Funny that you mention that article, I actually have that issue in my chronologically ordered stack of AutoWeek magazines...

It's mainly about the whole "comfort and adjustability" segment of a cars that appeal to women is what the article is about, they have a "Top 5 Features Women Want" side note in the article too. But if you think about it, the female automotive marketing demographics really do make sense.
