Default Dyno'd the new motor yesterday = 236/218

I dyno'd my new motor yesterday and made pretty good power with the little GT2554R. The motor is the one that I got on ebay and rebuilt. It feels pretty good.

I think the small turbo is the limit on the top end as it kind of just levels off at 5500.

    Very nice!

Didn't you owe us a story on the motor that went home with you on the passenger seat that wasn't the one that came out of your car?

That was a 94 longblock that i bought for the blue turd. I am going to put the 99/00 head on it and run it with the lower compression 8.8 pistons that came in the 94 miata. No big story , just more engine parts. The old OCD kicking in....

That torque curve makes up for any lack of top end horsepower. Shift that thing about 6200 and it will stay within ten percent of the torque forever! I would take that over peeky HP any day :)

Upon futher review it looks like the AFR is a little lean (correct?). Your not gonna blow this one up are you?

12:1 afr is not lean, the lean tip in is because boost is rising at that point and is lower.
