Thread: FS: 2001 Audi TT Coupe

Default FS: 2001 Audi TT Coupe

    PRICE REDUCED to $15,250

It's time to sell my wifes old car!

    So here are the specs:

    -2001 Audi TT Coupe
-Amulet Red with Black Leather interior
    -180 HP 1.8L turbo Fronttrack
    -Heated, manual seats
    -HID headlights with 3M stongard
-Bose stereo (usually don't like Bose, but I've been impressed with this stereo) with 6-disc changer
-17" wheels with 225-45-17 Falken ST-115s (in good shape)
-64.5k miles (expensive timing belt change done at just over 60k)
-Fold down rear seats/ hatchback make for decent cargo space

I've got it listed on Autotrader for $16,950 but TCB price is $16,500. It's a beautiful car. Tell your friends, your boss, random people on the street... just tell them to mention DFW miata so I now they want the TCB price.

    Thanks for looking!

Carfax says she has only had it for a little over a year. Why did she want to trade vehicles? Did she buy it in Houston from a dealer or private owner? There is a teacher at my school looking at the ad.

ETA: Just saw a dealer picked it up at an auction

We got the 2004 for $4k under blue book with only 18k miles on it. It was too good to pass on.

She moved to a new department at work and started doing site visits around Dallas. She felt it was a little too flashy to be driving around Oakcliff in.

She loves the car and really doesn't want to see it go.

We bought the car from a dealer here in Dallas.

She's safe unless she's tiny enough to fit in the trunk :)

That shirt always makes me laugh!!!
Problem is that they're both hatchbacks so you could fit a couple of people in there.

Hey Tim, has that teacher lose their interest? It's a beautiful car, they just need to take a look at it.

    Have you sold it yet?

KBB indicates it should be sold for approx. $13,000 in a private party transaction.

The car hasn't sold yet, but KBB is pretty far off for some reason. I priced it by checking on Ebay, autotrader and car.com. Similar cars with similar mileage are selling for around the same price all over TX. Nobody is selling at blue book (if you can find one at blue book scoop it up).

Last time I check, my TT was the least expensive one within a 300 mile radius of Mansfield. It's kind of like when I sold the BMW M3, blue book was way off on that car, and I got what I was asking for, no questions asked.

Because the M3 is a pretty limited production car, especially our M3/4 manuals. I also got over kbb on mine and I lowered it a ton for a quick sale. If I waited I probably could've gotten 2500+ over sticker.

Anyways, this TT is very clean. I've seen it in person a few times and Thomas takes care of his cars so if I was in the market I'd pay a slight premium for that car.
