Some people say that the most effective CIA is the Randall Cowl Induction. You can also DIY. Check Miata.net for write ups.

Do they make those for the NBs now?
Last time I looked it was only for the NAs.

I got the MonsterFlow intake, I like it...seemed to flow better than the home made one I had, can't speak much on any power gains.

    Awww no Randall for me.....
Does not fit with cruise control or our shock tower brace although it does work with factory shock tower braces. Fits 2004-05 Mazdaspeed MX-5 turbo cars, providing cooler air than the stock setup.

I think someone sells a Cruise Control relocation kit as an add-on for one of the other intake kits. Might work worth this one.

You I already told you not to blow money on crap like that yet! You need shocks/springs/tyres/alignment before anything else.

    Good suggestion but wrong order.

    Alignment, Tyres, shocks/springs
    ...and across the line.

Don't stop someone spelling someone the right way, just because it's the norm here to misspell half of the Queen's English!

Hmmm...since the car needs all of the above, I would think installing the shocks/springs before the alignment would be wise since changing the ride height can alter the settings.

I didn't even notice that! Actually I spelled it that way in my first post before blackroadster. My car, musik and hockey interests have me spelling many things different by accident, like musik or centre.

I was assuming you were doing them one at a time over an extended period.

    OK pointy...

alignment, tyres ( to Iain), shocks/springs/realignment

Unless you are planing to do them all at once. Then its, shocks/springs, an alignment asap, then tyres although the last two can be interchanged as long as it happens within days of the shock/springs install. Jeesh! I'm starting to type disertations like Iain!
