    Default *SOLD*FS: 2000 Head

2000 head with approx. 40K mile on it. Bought it a couple of years ago before I realized it would be illegal to run a 2000 head on a '96 engine in CSP. Includes fuel rail and injectors, but not the cover or cam gears. Asking $450 as is, no warranty as to usability or condition. (I've never used it).

On a side note. It looks like those heads a built pretty beffy. For example, I look at the intake ports and they are begging for porting. Also the intake cams look like thay have a fairly short duration compared to the exhaust side.

Overall the head looks good, no scoring or discoloration on the lobes; only minimal carbon buildup on the valves. The only thing I can think of is replacing, or at least cleaning, the rusty studs on the exhaust side.

    Price???

You're spoiled by Honda For some reason, Honda has really done their homework on head flow and their engines show it mod-for-mod over Mazda.
