    Default Kennedale Sunday!!

I am finally going to stop being lazy and take the beast to the track. I will be at Kennedale at 5:00 Sunday evening is anyone wants to join me. I want to make some pump gas runs before we turn the boost up! Let me know if your interested.

So have you decided against parting/selling it?

Thankfully I was able to keep it. Things work out in good ways in the long run.

Hmmm... not thrilled about Kennedale, nor Sunday evening, but I would love to see your beast run. Any chance we could get you out to a Friday night up in Denton?

Well, I've been dieing to see Warren's car and see it run, so I think I will likely make the drive down there this afternoon. If anyone else is interested in caravaning from the North Dallas Area, let me know.

That was fun... Your car is scary fast Warren! It was nice meeting you. I confirmed my suspicion that I need to do a lot of timing tuning as my power is way down.

That was great to finally get it out on the track. Thanks alot for coming out, and it was nice to meet you too.

We ran on pump gas street tires, and the wastegate spring tonight (12 lbs). I had a terrible time getting traction. We set the two step at 5000 rpm which I think was about 500 rpm too soon. Im going to recalibrate it for 4500 and see if I can get my 60 fts down in the 1.60 to 1.70 range. I just want it to go 7.70s on 12 pounds. We will see. Here are my results for tonight.

    60 ft...1.80
    1/8...7.94
    MPH...91.48

Next week we are retuning for probably 30 lbs...I cant wait.

Per THIS calculator, that should translate into the mid 12s in the 1/4 mile. Not bad for 12psi and pump gas! Time to turn up the boost.
