Does anyone know a local shop that repairs Macs? Also one that refurbs and sells used mac equipment. I only know the factory stores. Anywhere around Dallas on North Dallas would be super neat.

Do you know the nature of the problem? I've stripped many a Mac down to components and can run a few basic utilities. Never a laptop, though...

It is a G4 powerbook with a cracked screen. Also I was looking for a desktop for my son.

We have a lot of g4's around the office and I can see if the boss might let one of them go for your son, as far as the laptop, one of my employees just swapped screens on one and it seems to be working.
