The buy-it-now is 23k US dollars, but you still need to consider a few other things related to this being a Canadian transaction. First, you need to consider that MSRP runs about 20% more in Canada than the US for new Mazdas. In addition, I have heard that many Canadian dealers do not negotiate off of MSRP (Perhaps Mike can confirm this?)... If true, this is worth another 10% difference. If you reduce the BIN price by 20%(maybe 30?), you would have an amount that represents a US equivalent of the Canadian Value. In other words, a Canadian would see the asking price about how we would see a BIN on $18.5k ($16.2k?).
