Not a secret ingredient - more like a mascot!
He found that pelt at a taxidermy shop. It is the whole pelt with a hole under the tail. He puts it on his hand like a puppet and scares people. He's like that. Had a rubber snake as a kid that gave Mom a series of heart attacks.
