    Ouch, my '94 seems to be the slowest Miata.

    Look again. There are two listings. One is 1994 Miata at 9.7 and 17.00 and the other is 1994 MX-5 Miata at 8.8 and 16.60. I am guessing the first is an automatic and the second is a stick.

    I'm guessing the first one is the fully-loaded C-package like I've got and the second is the R.

    For an NA/NB, yes. The NC Slushbox is MUCH better.
