where to buy a battery?
I've seen the Wesco advertised on the net
is there a local place to buy a replacement battery for a 93 that will fit and have the correct vent stuff?
any recommendations?

Autozone has a sealed agm wesco under a different label for around 75 bucks. That is probably your cheapest bet locally. I have had one in the car now for 3 1/2 years and it works fine. Batterys inc or what ever it is called has actual wescos for around 130.
So no lightweight battery?

Batteries Plus also carries a dry cell battery that would fit for around 100 bucks.

local AutoZone didn't carry in stock, but OR did
no pix yet, camera is in Florida, where I'll be again Thursday
