Default Mini Tech Day, Saturday the 3rd

So it looks like I'm going to be working on CosmosMpower's RX-8 most of the day on Saturday at my place. Since the garage will be open, if anyone has any minor work they wanted to do, this might be a good opportunity. FWIW, I do still have my pressurized brake bleeder cap and a compressor, if someone wants to get a good brake flush before the season starts.

Joseph's RX-8 will be in the garage, but I do have flat space in the driveway for 2-3 cars, shaded from the wind.

Where: My house (east of Plano, PM me for the addy)
    When: Saturday, starting around 10:30am.
BYOJ - Brong Your Own Jackstands! Mine will be under Joseph's RX-8.

I'd come just for the comedy that the group seems to generate and then go to the ER trailer party, but I already have plans with the future fiance.

Iain, I will be there to help out and learn how to change shocks on the RX-8.

Maybe borrow your RX-8 Pressure Bleeder to flush brake fluid if that's ok.

Unfortunately, I haven't built one for the RX-8 yet. I do have a spare MC cap sitting on my workbench, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I have a universal that should work for one pressure bleed method or another... I'll try to remember to bring my stuff.

If I did not already have plans I would be there. But have dinner plans with some friends and am going to move the fuel cell on my CJ to make better use of the limited storage space I have in the bed.

Umm... yeah. One size fits none, apparently. Looks like I've still got a little brake fluid to hose off the driveway tomorrow.

You're welcome. Once I build one for the '8 we'll have to have a brake fluid tech day for all the rotor heads on the board.

Just found the thread here, big thanks to Iain for kindly lending his expertise and garage to me. The shocks and springs worked out great and he always has a co-drive in a slow street tire class car if he ever needs one. See you guys at the first event of the year!
