Austin Veedub was good and honest but pricey - http://www.austinveedub.com/

There is a VW mechanic off Burnet - I cant not think of the exact name or address but they are visible from Burnet on the east side of the road. I want to say they are between 51st and Houston. I know that is vague, but it has been some time since I was there. It is in the industrial section of Burnet (read muffler shops, interior shops, etc.)

My sister spoke highly of Jim (founder of dieselgeek.com). Dunno if he's still around, but you could try there for a start anyway.

Thanks for the suggestions, trying to get her away from the maw of Jiffy Lube.

Anybody like Kenny Hill? He's been down there forever, but never used him.

John Long is honest. If I lived in Austin, this is where I'd go.
