I guess when you have access to a lift, you can get the underside REALLY clean. I'm jealous!

I will be doing the cage just me on the hole build.
I am using my work shop right now to get this far,
Weekend build just sucks. I have 4 days in this build so far
I will have my own place in 25 days. Thanks for the good comments.

Your car looks great!! It is really neat to see someone build their own car. I am in the process of building my car up as well. Just got the car back from Team MER at MSR. Julianne installed and painted my cage. It looks awesome!!! Thanks MER. I hope I never have to use it!!! I will install all other components, such as, suspension, seats, clutch, flywheel, fuel port, battery cutoff, etc., etc. Good luck with the cage.

Looking good Dave. I got him into this "Miata Lifestyle", not sure if he's glad or wants to kill me for it though. He built his own GTI racecar and was kicking butt. Now he is going to be in the SM ranks, and from what I have seen, and other SM drivers have said from his driving at MSR thus far, he should be in the top 5 in every race. Look for him to be challenging Keith for the MSR track record in a SM.

Wow, that's a lot of work in a few weeks. I thought it would still be in boxes after just two weeks.

That is 4 days work in 2 weekends not 2 weeks stright.
Thx for all the good coments.
I will post more pics after next weekends work if I get binder in time.
Cage is going to be hard part. Rest was a cake walk all one man job.
I hate cleaning parts that took most time. Than mount dash and all the gauges and fire system.

Lots of elbow grease a wire brush and car wash. Than I primer all parts than paint.Cleaning was hard part of build having to take apart than clean and reassemble. If my help would have shown the build would have been even so much faster. He knows who he is. I am looking into getting a powder coat system next for my shop.To many things I want for my shop have to get one at a time.
    Here some more pics.

That looks really nice.... I think that if I get new suspenison bushings I am going to take the time to remove the subframes and refinish them. How much of a pain was it to get them off?

Here I thought you were losing weight by removing all the dirt but the added paint negates that.

That's a gorgeous blue on those Miatas. That isn't an OEM color, is it?

Thanks for the info. I think that I am going to try to replace mine so I can add the rear brace! Also my dad is looking for a deal on a Miata. So if you don't sell that one we might have to get with you about it.
