Thread: Painting Extravaganza

    Default Painting Extravaganza

Well I am 99.999999% sure I just got a new house and it needs some work before I move in. I am hoping that some of my great MME friends will decide that they can swing by on Sat to help me paint the interior of the house.

I will be changing the flooring on Sun/mon. so spills should not be a problem. I will have everything masked off fri, and will be painting on sat., Lamanite floors on Sun.

Anyone that wants to stop by PM me and I will give you the address and any info. Please let me know if you can help so I can get enough Pizza and beer.(Limit 2/hr while painting)

I can't make it, but have done a bunch of painting at our new place. Those 'hollow' roller sticks you can suck paint up in to work great. You can then feed paint to the roller without having to stop and put it in a tray.

Perhaps crap but they'll make short work of any interior walls... and floors... and ceilings... and counter-tops... and just about any other surface that's not covered.... and some that are.

2 Pizzas. 5 Gallons of Paint. 1 hour of real work. No regard for the floors. $26 to spend. Sounds pretty clear to me.

If you are prepared to mask everything off that you don't want paint on, and I mean everything...spraying is hard to beat.

If you have enough people and/or time, roll it.

That is why I was avoiding sprayers. I think with 6 people we can paint the whole thing in a fw hours as I will be makingeverything and trying to put on a Stripe over the edges so that noone has to worry about the touchy spots

    Well,

Nevermind. I guess I have used too much epoxy and eurithain based paint at work I guess. Pictures of spray painting in a confined area with six guys laughing histarically and not know what they are laughing at, came to mind.

Despite being denied the opportunity to go crazy with a power sprayer, I'm in.
