    Default Finally!!!!

McKinney City Council voted unanimously to ease water restrictions.

As a result, residents may now water their lawns twice weekly. Residents may also wash their cars and windows with a hose, provided the hose has a flow-restricting nozzle attached.

Well seeing that Lavon is finally back to its banks, which hasn't been since almost 1988, boo all you want. Like they say, if you got it, USE IT.

I wonder if a pressure washer is considered a "flow-restricting nozzle".

Having grown up in a desert area that shared water with two countries, I know what's like to be on the verge of not having any... and I'm no eco-nut, but I do applaud a smart water conservation effort.

Understood. In addition, living in the city of Dallas means that I can leave the hose running 24x7 to create a cool natural spring effect in my backyard, but they will only let be do that if the other cities around here don't take advantage of the water that we graciously allow them to use.

    Yes, but I kid...

The 24x7 hose was actually placed there by my wife to try to wash away the remnants of my last oil change. Apparently she doesn't consider the backyard an approved oil drop-off location. Now she tells me. Sheesh!
