Default OKSCCA autocross at OSU/OKC 7-8-07

This event is at the Precision Driving Training Facility of OSU on the southeast side of Oklahoma City. They have 4 runs in your base class in the morning, then 4 runs in your PAX class in the afternoon. You can trophy twice in one day. INFO

I am going up for this one. I have not run at the PDTF before. It only take me about 10 min. longer to get to OKC than it does to Mineral Wells.

    Anyone else interested?

Hmm... 213 miles from my house. That means a tank of gas each way, plus entry fee.

    I think I'll pass.

I might be interested, as I was not looking forward to a weekend without racing. Lessee, I will need to get up at about 3:30, be on the road at 4:00, stop for breakfast at Doug's, and arrive at about 7:30.

Let me run it by the boss and see what happens.

Right now there are 57 entries, 3 in CS and 2 in ES. Sean Grubb has been at most, if not all of the OK events I have been to, but he is not on the entry list yet.

jrj521 you would run in ES in the morning and TES in the afternoon. You must run in a base class in the morning before you can run in a PAX class in the afternoon, but you do not have to run in a PAX class.

She said No at first because it is too far of a drive, but then I told her all of the other kids were going, so she said OK. Let me noodle on it. Looks like we have to pre-register by midnight tomorrow night night.

Monday will be ugly if I go.

I am pretty sure they have walk up registration. But, it might cost a few dollars more. I'll try to find out for sure.

Just got word from Uncle Buck at OKSCCA, you indeed can register at the event at a higher fee.

Mick said he is going and so am I. I just signed up. I signed up twice -- once for the morning and once for the afternoon. I thought that's how you do it, but looking at the entry sheet, I guess not. I will call and ask them about it.

    Anyone else coming?

Doug, is there a good place where we can all hook up for a quick breakfast on the way? If so, where and between what times?

I have been warning by my significant other that I cannot whine on Monday about being tired, so I will have to get all of my whining out on Sunday.

Hmmm, Sunday you say? I'm half-interested ... and I'm already an hour closer than most of you.
