Default Wanna make $10 for going to the ER event on Sunday?

Jeremy Foley (who goes by the screen name ratt_finkel on the TXIC board) has issued a PAX challenge to any and all comers - if you beat his G Stock '01 Impreza 2.5RS in the PAX, he'll pay you $10. If he beats you, you pay him $10. That simple.

I have a feeling this could get rather expensive for Mr Foley.

The thread on TXIC with the details is here. If you want in you've got to post to the TXIC thread, and Jeremy has to accept the challenge (hey, he accepted my challenge at the last SCCA event, so I'm sure he'll accept you guys :P ). I expect to see a few Miata pilots take home some money on Sunday.

He thinks he beat you at the 26SEP SCCA AX? I did a little checking, and if he did, it would be the first and only time this year.

I'd take him up on the challenge, but I'm not going to join another forum just to post my acceptance.

Well, SCCA still hasn't published the results, so we're still not sure who won at the last event. Don't forget I had my worst finish of the year (including the last infield event against all of the out-of-town talent) - 5th place - at the Bus Lot.

Still, if he beat me in the PAX, it would have been very close, based on the time he told me he got when I was coming back to Grid. Between this morning's new alignment and the concrete grip at Pennington (Foley runs on street tires), I don't expect to lose again, if I did indeed lose last time.

    Welcome to the board, Jim!

I guess that means you got the brawny Bimmer running again? And who knew you owned a Miata?

Miata? '02 Blue LS The Ole Lady lets me drive it only when it needs an oil change.

M3? It made it home from Autoscope and from home to the Beer Store and back without breaking or overheating. I've had 3 runs in it in 2 events the last 2 weeks. It might stay together this weekend.

$10.00? I need the money to pay for M3 repairs.

Welcome? You guys have the best AX site in DFW. I've been meaning to join for a while.

I recall seeing a disclaimer on the Scooby forum that seemed to apply directly to your car!

He just replied: " Mr. Harris, current points leader in both SCCA and ER for Street Mod. Maybe next season Jim, when I get some real tires. Or if it rains ".

    Darn, I needed the $10.00.

But then if it rains.............I've got a WRX too. Hmmmm.

Jesus Jim - perhaps the list would be shorter if we asked you what cars you don't own. :P
