North Texas State Fair and Rodeo gig
I will be playing Saturday the 18th of this month (August)
in Denton at the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo in the Commercial Exibits Bldg. at 9:00 in the evening, should be a real good chance to get some GOOD exposure. There is a big name act out there around the same time so there will be lots of people....so come out if you can, should be a lot of fun.

cool, these folks have been really cool to me so I am looking forward to it, I guess the difference is it being in Denton and the fact that UNT is there.
I hear that is one of the best schools for learning music.
They said I can play as long as I want and they will schedule nobody after me, I thought that was really nice of them and they just sounded real nice and considerate on the phone.

The crowd is usually pretty good at the main stage that late. I can't remember if they have other stages or not. The main stage is big with standing room in front and bleachers off to the side. It'll be outside for sure. I hope I can make it.Originally Posted by Billy Blaze

I will be in the commercial bldg on an 8 ft stage, but that's ok with me, it sounds like fun and I always enjoy playing for other folks, but they said it should be a pretty good crowd.
Gary told me to bring out my guitar to the SC install the end of the month so I will be playing out there some too...lol
Most likely after the days work is done so I will know how to fix things if I need to..haha
