Congratulations Walsted! If you could look back across those two hundred and fifty thousand miles it would be a bit longer than viewing Earth from the surface of the Moon.
The odometer on my '99 flipped past a quarter million miles around 6:30pm, today (10 April) while westbound on I20 near McCart. I figure the car will be in the third of a million mile club in a couple of years at the current rate. Although the car is in the quarter million mile club, I didn't put most of the miles on it - I bought in in August 2007 with over 170K miles. Since the purchase, I have done the usual maintenance, nothing out of the ordinary.
This is the second car I ran past 250,000 miles. My previous car, a 1986 Tbird TurboCoupe, was at 295K when I sold it to buy the Miata. My wife will probably have over 250,000 miles on her Cherokee when it is put out to pasture.
A few miles prior to reaching 250,000, on 35W northbound, I passed by a silver hard top NC (PHRT?) with paper tags. We exchanged waves; I was thinking "If he knew how many miles were on this Miata, he'd probably feel even better about his purchase."
Hope everyone else's cars last as long, with as few problems.

Congratz on the quarter mil! I'm only about to hit 38k in mine, but I only average 3k a year. I need to drive more.
