Default track crew: how often do you change oil?

I run mobile1, and I've done like 8 track-days on this oil, but pressure is still good, oil looks pretty, no oil consumption, and no lifter tick.

I did blow about half of it out on the highway one day when I lost the oil cap, so half the oil is new anyways, but lets ignore this for now.

    Thanks for the input.

I change it before and after each track day.

I change my oil once a month, if I go to the track that month. When the winter season comes along, I'll stick in Castrol GTX or Castrol Synthetic and keep it in there for 3-5K miles. I use GTX because it's cheap and safe. Sometimes I get free oil and I use that, though.

OK.. I'm confused. I thought you put the coolant in the 710 cap. Have I been doing it wrong?

    ...and across the line.

I'm thinking about dumping amsoil in it, and just changing it every 6 months regardless of the # of track days.

    obviously. lol

I'm pretty sure synthetic oil is good for longer than 2 hours of driving. I'm going to send off an oil analysis.

Every 3000 miles no matter what I do with the car. I use semi-synthetic.

    Gimmie that dap, pit bull...woof!

The oil is still thick as hell, golden, and not lifter tick. I always though lifter tick was a good indicator of viscosity and lubrication falling off.
