Gas mileage is somewhat better with the V6.
The only thing I could think of when I first saw it is "Damn, this is what Ford should have done with the Crown Vic".

The coupe concept is a POS too. I got to check one out back in Dec when I did a consumer evaluation thingy. The rear seats are really cramped, and the whole interior is slathered in cheap plastic. The dash is huge and for no reason as the glove box is small and can barely be reached from the driver's seat. Belive me when I say it looks better in pictures than it does in person.
