    Default Dallas Auto Show!

The Dallas Auto Show is at the Dallas Convention Center April 2-6. Anyone interested in getting together as a group to go check it out?

    Sounds like there's some interest.

Does anyone else have a day preference?

Either Saturday or Sunday as I have school Tuesday night and I work the usual Mon-Fri 8-5.

I was thinking of going Saturday.

But I was going to take the DART Light Rail instead of the car to save the gas and the trouble/cost of parking downtown.

Sounds like we've got some Saturdays and some Sundays.

I'm going to suggest 1pm on Saturday, since that works best for me

I'll open a new thread with the date and time.

That's not a bad idea except it takes forever to get to the hall and back to your car since that thing stops every 30 seconds. Not to mention there are some very shady characters on the train. The S2000 group usually parks at Mockingbird station, grabs lunch and then takes the light rail over. If you could squeeze 4 people in a car the cost of the light rail would cover parking in the garage (5-8 bucks?) I'm in for either day.

University gives me a parking pass. That changes the math a little. I take the Light Rail each and every day to get to school and work. Thanks to the rail I only drive my cars ~30miles per week unless I go out of town to see my parents, leaving my Miata to its true purpose: a weekend toy.
