It's black cherry mica - which is more of a dark burgundy metallic color. I think it would look pretty bad on a brilliant black car.

Exactly! I don't want the top, I just need a nice place to prop it up and something to keep the big chunks off of it... Right now it's sitting in a storage unit getting rat shit and dust all over it.

She obviously did not know the market but shame on her for promising it to you then selling it out from under BAM.

In my opinion it is a mark on a persons character to promise something and then change their mind.

I've had a number of Craigslist items get yanked out from under me after I thought it was sold. The seller's excuse is usually something like "I've been burned by folks saying they were going to come pick it up and never showing".

Nevermind that sellers could tell you that it's not sold until they're paid. And first come, first served.

Now, if I want it I let them know I'm on my way with cash.
