    Default WTB 94-97 Valve Cover

I want to refinish my valve cover and need a core to swap while I work on it. Anyone have one lying around they want to loan or sell me?

Is it the green/yellow one DD?

Because, I'm sure I could blast that one in a jiffy.

A guy on M.net has one for $50 shipped. I think I'll do that.

If you were looking for powder coating it and don't want to go to all of the trouble of getting it done yourself, you might ckeck out the parts group.

For $150 it looks like a good deal just to not have to clean up and get the valve cover ready to have powdercoated yourself. They don't specify that it has to be red, they just need the valve cover or a $50 core charge.

Something like that will most likely require a good sander and a buffer.

Nickel plate it. That, or you could anodize it like a mag flashlight.

Texas Precision Plating in Garland. Talk to Steve Gordon, he is one of the owners there. It's off of Forrest lane between Jupiter and Shiloh. I could even take it past on a Tuesday, as I go past his shop every week.

That might be harder than it looks. The pics you have are of a 90-93 valve cover where the letters are sunk in rather than raised up like on the 94-97s.
