Be one of the first people in the country to preview and drive the all new Audi A4. You will drive the 2009 A4 and its competitors to experience Truth In Engineering for yourself. After sampling the competition, you then head out onto the racetrack in the A4.
Here's your chance to load up on free food and drink compliments of Audi, then wring out their cars on the "track". I think we can assume it will be held in one of the fabled parking lots.

I went to this today. It was not bad especially for the price. We got to do several lead follow laps on the infield course in an A4. Then we got to autoX a mercedes c230, a Lexus is250, a BMW 328xi and an A4. Of course it was setup so they A4 looked the best, and overall it did feel better on the tight small autoX course. I would say the lexus was second best, and the car that would be the most comfortable, but handled pretty poorly was the Merc. Overall it was a fun time.

I went Friday at 9:30. My impressions are the same as yours. We drove one run and rode on run on the autoX course. I drove the Lexus, BMW, Audi and then the MB. I had to get help to get the Lexus started, neither my co-driver or I had ever driven one before. It had the least horsepower but handled nicely. The A4 had the most horsepower and was the only one to get the tail out, just a little.

On the road course, my lady co-driver and I were put into a slow group. I guess they just though that a woman and a pot bellied, bald headed old man should be in the slow group. We both spent A LOT of time riding the brakes. We were even running the A/C and the radio.

I was really impressed with the lady's driving, she was very smooth and drove good lines.

Based on very limited seat time, I rated the cars in this order. Audi, Lexus, BMW then MB.

Very fun two hours, at a true TCB price.
