    Default It's HOT in here!!!!

This is probably so elementary you guys have already got this figured out but....

I notice a ton of heat coming off of the 'hump' in the middle of the car. Especially through the shifter but really along the hole middle of the car, over the drive shaft.

Has anybody figured out how to insulate this area so it's at least bearable?

Your shifter boots are torn. Replace them, and all will be better.

While you're in there, you might as well replace the nylon shifter bushings.

When you replace shifter boots and nylon bushings, please add oil to the shifter turret. It will be about 3 oz. It will make your shifter smoother!! Good luck...

For snicks, grins, and giggles, jumper TEN and GND to see if you throw any codes. I noticed the same thing on my NA right before my fried.
