    Default Annoying Driving Habits

This is a good article on the subject. I pretty much agree with everything stated.

    I like this one.
"don't blame me if I don't move over for you; I'm busy and fitting in is your job. I have the right of way, doofus!"

I had a guy in a Miata try to merge into the the side of my pickup on I35 last mo. After coming very close to hitting me he gives me the finger. Their was a lot of space in front and behind me but it was my fault he could not merge without looking.

What I also find "fun" is when folks merging on pace my truck down the on ramp (expecting me to move out of their way) and then at the last possible second go to tuck in right behind me only to discover 18' of horse trailer behind me... makes for some exciting moments...

I believe all of those happened to me on the 8 mile drive to work this morning.

Yup, I see so much of that crap everyday I just stopped counting. But nothing gets my goat like the idiots constantly tapping their brakes on a straight road. If they would just ease up off the gas they would slow down the same amount.

The other one is people that talk on their cell phones while driving. Really? Are you that important or think you are that hip, that you have to keep yapping on that freaking thing all day? It's not enough that you can't take a piss in peace without some yahoo at the urinal next to you gabbing on the phone or flicking his crackberry, you got to deal with these nincumpoops that have to have that cell phone glued to their ear rendering them completly oblivious to what is going on around them.

The problem is, they don't know how to drive a stick shift. They rest their left foot on the brake pedal and brake with their left foot. If they would put their left foot on the dead pedal, they would never hit the brake while driving down the road.

My biggest pet peeves are when people don't pay attention; no blinker use, swerving into the lane as I pass, or taking a nap in the left lane.

I personally beleive every single person should have to go through driver training and take their driving test in a stick shift. Maybe it would stop those idiots from pulling right up on your bumper when you are stopped on a hill.
