    Default Corner Weighting

Anyone know where and who can do corner weighting in the metromass? I have someone ask me if I know.

    Thanks,

Autoscope can do it but when you see the bill you might as well just sign over the title to them as payment.

Yikes! That much, huh? Safe to say it's not TCB-friendly?

PTP can do it. It's not the cheapest thing in the world.

I think that Tommy has a set of scales. You might see if you can rent them and then do a "corner balancing" day at your casa or something?

Really not that much but I think a full 1 time alignment/corner balance will run in the neighborhood of 300-400. I wouldn't call it TCB friendly.

What do you expect to gain from corner-balancing? I do not think that there are many people on this forum (including myself) that would benifit from this. I'm just not good enough.

More like...too much mass up front sucks. The front end of that car weighs more than my car!

    I was setup! It's a fake!

Actually, it came with the shocks since I was the test car.

BTW, in race trim, my car was 2,097 lbs with little gas and no driver on 7/12/09.

I need to corner weigh mine sometime before next season. Why don't one of you rich guys but a set of scales and then rent them out to your buddies?

My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

It obviously wasn't a miata I was surprised by the way the car drove though. Didn't feel like a 3,400+ lbs car except when it went into terminal understeer (my error). Otherwise I was really impressed and liked it a lot.

Let me know when you double that weight and we can talk. That what I drive to and from work everyday.

wow, I just realized that car weighs almost as much as my Jeep with all the modifications I have made to it. I have a much better front to rear balance though.
