Yeah. Just a bit sore, but I'm sure some of that is from hanging out on the garage floor most of the week.

And for our final success story of the weekend, mr. x, who is clearly hitting the crack pipe too hard, swapped in "sport" springs and shocks to his otherwise stock '99 to avoid any need to be competitive at SCCA and ER events this year. Welcome to the party, mr. x!!!

Afteward, mr.x, dave04, POS Racing, and 3bean joined me for lunch at JC's Burger House. We shan't be short on cholestorol this week!

Got to admit I was impressed with how well TC's car rides with the new springs... could use a set myself.

And Mr X., we didn't get a report on your new "stock" springs and shocks... how did they turn out?

I think POS took the trip to Oklahoma with Mr. X. POS, what were your impressions of the new suspension?

I'm not at liberty to say at this juncture! :P

But if I was at liberty to say, I'd say it rode quite nicely, got rid of the porposing we noticed on the way to Oklahoma.

mmmmm... almost there. New alignment bolts are in...

Those that drove my car over the weekend will be interested to know that it was -2.5* F/-3.3* R Camber with only 1.2* Caster.

We're now set at -1.1* F/-1.7* R with 6.0* Caster. No more squirrelling at low speeds, and great on-center feel without any excess effort.

I should have tires on it late this afternoon.

Ok... so somebody wanted a picture or something...

Note the MME sticker on the back window...

Here are the pictures you really wanted...

Tip: Don't hit a VW. That left rear corner is going to cost upwards of $7k...
