I'm glad they did! Helps get dialed in for Nationals.

With 5 AX clubs there are only so many options with dates through out the year.

With so many of Texas Region competitors being National Competition oriented, there was a move to try & "load" the calendar closer to the Sept. SCCA Nationals event.

From the view of a non national driver seems crazy to put 1/3th of the events in the hottest month, but that's fine I should have gone to the meetings if I want to have a say in it.

Are you going to run B Stock this year? I am thinking about going to tire class.

    Most likely moving to STX.

But still looking for a car. Had one, deal made, details to pickup & the next thing I know the guy backs out of the deal.

What kind of car? I'll be running STX in the RX-8 this season.

Trying to find a 328is non-sunroof. Hard car to find.

Like the idea of the going to a class where the tires are competitive past 20 runs!!

Something that stock classes should be in my opinon... but that's a whole different thread!

I agree with you on the tires in stock class. That's why I am thinking about moving to tire class next year, but that means no Nat events and getting killed in PAX.

What do you mean, my A6's lasted 2+ years and 120 runs and still weren't dead. I finally tossed them since they were petrified.

Go play in STR. There should be plenty of Regional and Divisional competition, plus you can compete at National events.

Cosmos I get about 60 runs out A6's in the front on the S2000.

altiain, I would spend too much money in STR, I tend to throw money at the car if I can so stock class is the best place for me. I also think STR will be a spec Miata class in a few years I don't think the S2000 will be able to keep up with the NC.

Where did you run them? I believe you only ran them at TMS.

Just read... " A new STX car is being built.... By Tom Berry, BMW 325." Six Time National Champion.

CS not any better. Mark Daddio and others are looking to put another jacket in their closet.
